Designed by Westlake Reed and Leskowsky, we constructed a new Film and Media Center as part of the main campus at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Chelsea. The uber high-end finishes on this project included wood ceilings and wall panels from Spain, fabric seating from Belgium and perforated gypsum board from England. The state of the art theater, editing lab and production studio also includes never before used Audio/Visual equipment and automation. All demolition, concrete, masonry, carpentry and iron work was performed in-house. With a fully staffed and enrolled curriculum starting in the fall, all work was performed and completed during summer break.
